Question:

Lacrosse stringing: Speed and Whip?

I'm looking into getting a new lacrosse head. I'll be playing attack, and arent sure what a real good head is. I currently have two Brine E3's.

I like having a good amount of whip, (7 on a scale from 1-10), and am wondering...What is the best shooter/mesh combo to give me optimal (best possible) speed, but also a good amount of whip? I.E, six diamond for hold/whip, with extra V shooters, etc etc.

Also, does whip have a direct effect on shot speed?

Thanks for the help!

  1. i just got a gait ice [ attack and middy size ] and i got a warrior head.

if u want a ton of whip get a very lite shaft like the gait ice and get a lite head like any warrior head [ and they do fit on each other ] and if u no how 2 string a stick string it with hard mesh and get 3 shooting strings and arrange them in a double ue if u no wat that is [ a straight shooting string about in the 3rd sidewal hole and two string 1 inside the other in the shape of an upside down u

i use 2 think i had amazinng whip i could shoot 52 [ im only 11 ] but i tried this and i got 57 so it does make a pretty big difference and on my d pole it makes a great difference because there seems to be more accuracy on my passes with the pole

    hope i helped
