Lakers VS Rockets ?

Man ... if they( both teams ) stay healthy they will porbably meet in WC Finals ...

So as a Lakers fan ... umm Houston become BIG threat to us .. Artest on Shane Battier on Kobe Bryant ? d**n i'm kinda scared .. since they both does great job on him 1 on 1 .. and if they double teams him like that ? awww

Plus Houston was already one of the best defensive team last year .. now with Artest ..

But now only weakness on Houston against Lakers is big man .. i don't think Scola and Yao can handle Bynum and Pau ..

So who do you think will win if they played against each other and what's their weaknesses and whats their strength against each other ?

My money would be on Houston...especially given how well they played the Lakers last year from game one.

Not mention they also beat the Lakers later in the season without Yao.

Houston will be scary. I'm a Laker fan and its amazing how the West is gettin stronger and stronger. First the Hornets sign James Posey and there young players (Julian Wright and Hilton Armstrong) will be better. The Jazz are a shooting guard away from being a real threat. And the Spurs will still be there when it counts. Now we have to worry about Houston. If McGrady stays healthy and Artest can stay under control, they will be a real threat. They just got a major upgrade in toughness and thats what LA lacks the most. We still have the best closer on the planet so it will definently be interesting. I think we still need an athletic small forward though. Paul Pierce exposed that weakness in the finals. Its gonna be entertaining for sure.

    What the average fan is not even thinkin about is the one huge ex factor, Stevie Franchise. Imagine if he was hungry enough to play this season. He is on the Rockets bench and has been a major bust since he got there. This will probably be his best chance to get a ring so don't be surprised if he comes out the woodwork revitalized

So many teams should be afraid, but your right about the Kobe part. See here's the good part you double Kobe you done s***w yourself leaving pau and or bynum open would be a huge mistake scola is slow and sloppy won't be able to handle pau. Yao while a good match for bynum still won't be able to compete with bynum's athleticism

Yao man-handled Bynum in their last match up... He pposted up Bynum for hook shots and then hit mid-range at Bynum's face....

i say lakers- with kobe bryant they are pretty unstoppable (although boston did a pretty good job...) when so many like double or triple team him it leaves players open and they can score and a lot of the time he can take it to the hoop even with several people guarding him....lakers have a pretty strong team

I think the Rockets will win. Yao doesn't need to get physical at score, his turnaround jump shot is CONSISTENT. On the defensive end, Yao's length will bother both Gasol and bynum (whose a non factor on that end except for o-rebounds). Scola, Hayes and Dorsey are great energy players. T-Mac against odom, figure that out on urself. Artest against Kobe, pretty touhg for Artest, but if you keep on rotating Artest and Battier to guard Kobe, that will be pretty brutal for the lakers. Alstons basically own fisher every game they played. And their bench, who's gonna Steve Francis, or Donte Green, or maybe even Luther Head? But on the other hand, Rockets can lock up Laker bench with ease. So i'll think Rockets will win.

I agree with all the way especially if yao can stay healty watch out..but I still say the lakers will win the series kobe is too good and if they artest, its a lock...well if artest can stay out of trouble.
