delisted today by carlton amd i was just wondering which team would want him or even need him? your thoughts.

Anthony Mundine may be interested as well.

Pity though you know.  He was a damned good player at his best.

He's better off retiring with dignity and not following in the steps of washed up players who are picked up cheap and spend their last year of footy on the bench.

As much as I dislike Carlton, Lance is a legend but with all the drama/weight/form issues - I doubt any team would pick him up.

I think Carlton made the right decision for the club.

How many players have won their teams best and fairest and then got sacked the following year? Not many I'm sure. If he was fully fit and healthy and their were no problems behind the scenes then for sure he can stand in our forward line.

Something must be going on for him to be sacked.

No surprises there. I dont think anyone will pick him up either. Now he will have more time to feud with his brother

Well Forky, that's not a surprise to me at all. I think Carlton did the right thing and has moved on. Lance's time was over 2yrs ago, its was just a matter of time. As for which team would pick him up.....well I really think its going to be retirement for Lance. No club would pick him up. Lance has history, (injuries,weight problems and now family issues) and no club wants that.
