Lanzarote?

We are going to Lanzarote on holiday, is it any good? Playa blanca or something like that.

my family went to costa tuguise last year .we went mostly to playa blanca on days out we all thought it was a fantastic holiday worth every penny.

I've been a few times.

Playa Blanca is really nice and there's loads of nice place to eat.

It's pretty quiet and there's more restaurants than bars.

Along the front we like the 'Grill' restaurant and 'Don Camillo's'

There's a nice Italian called 'L'Artista' and further along from that  there's 'Tipico Canaries'  which does tapas and Spanish dishes and is excellent.

(I think that's right, it's next door to a Chinese.)

If you feel the need for a fry-up the 'Irish Anvil' along the other way past the harbour is great too.

I lived in Lanzarote for the summer two years ago but I was in Puerto Del Carmen which is the lively part of the island, right next to Costa Teguise. Playa Blanca is in the south of the island and I have to say that if I were to go back for a holiday, that's where I'd be. It's known as the 5 star resort and is filled with luxury hotels and apartment complexes. Believe me, it is gorgeous!
