Hi, I'd like to buy a laptop. I've been looking on line for a good one based on memory. space and other specs. However, I also want a reasonably priced laptop. I am not particular with brand name although I know it might play a quality factor. Any ideas based on experience?

Thanks in advance.

  1. Check these out on ebay:

  2. my acer was two hundred but its cheap and slow

  3. I would say you should buy the newest Toshiba you can afford.  I see them the least here in the repair shop, I use one myself, and my manager swears by the brand as well.  Any new Toshiba is going to meet or exceed your requirements, so buying the cheapest one might just be exactly what you need.

Do some internet searches at buy.com and amazon.com and see the prices at bestbuy.com and walmart.com.  You shouldn't be disappointed.

  4. From my experience, you are wasting your time unless you go with a macbook. They range from around $1100 to I believe $2000 but they are far worth it and never have problems.

  5. I got my HP for $700, and you can get them now for about 6, I would only recomend HP, I have had no problems at all, it's powerful, sleek, and funcional. If you want to go really cheap, go Acer. You can get one for $399 at www.futureshop.ca
