Laptop wont turn on?

when i got my laptop it was kinda wacky but i dint care cause i dint use it alot and now its after a yr and i tried to turn it on and it wont even turn on. like with the battery and charger, nothings happening and my warranty ended too so i cant even get help from dell. what am i suppose to do? should i restart like the whole thing and how do u do that? i paid 900 for it and yeah...

Fully charge your battery or replace it. The power will be dead after 1 year and you need to do a complete recharge.

what do u mean it wont turn on? it wont power on or boot? cuz u said should i restart the whole thing, i donno baby u need to give some more info.

if its software related u could fix it without any money being wasted, if u have the recovery cd or an installation cd.
