I'm sure we was told that when we moved into our new stadium, that monies would be spent on top class players.we really need some experience or the likes of fabregas will leave when we don't win anything.we always have full houses ,so come on lets get the experienced players we deserve .i love wenger but at the end of last season there was a little unrest on the terraces at the lack of winning trophy's.lets get some big names in and stay in touch before its too late and even spurs finish above us and we don't want that.

I think if Wenger brings anybody in it will purely be for back up as I'm sure he will want to give the youngsters there from last season a shot like Walcott and Diaby.

My only hope is that the new player will be over 23. Hoyte wasn't good enough for Arsenal so i dont really care about his departure.

I just hope it's a midfielder with a bit of dig and resposibilty in midfield, someone to call the shots, someone with experience.

It's a shame we could'nt get Ribery last year he would of been great for Arsenal. I think if Arsene is going for a midfielder he will definatly be young and probably french so i go Jeremy Toulalan who plays for Lyon

hmm im not to sure who wenger will buy, but its got to surely be a player with experience klass jan huntelaar maybe, as for justin hoytes departure im not bothered at all he was very average at attacking and defending.

I still think Arsenal lacks a lot of depth once you get pass your starting 11, which is key to success in the season.

I think the loss of Patrick Viera years ago has been key....You haven't had a good strong holding midfielder who can command the flow of play.

That is what a player like Toulalan can hopefully bring to you.....who is an attacking player himself but has taken on the role as a holding midfielder with Lyon and has excelled in that position for both club and country. The other key thing is he is a player with experience.

Whoever he signs it will be on a shoestring budget and the man that is possibly the best manager and coach in the world is again treated with pathetic respect in terms of budget and control.

Arsenal should be ashamed of themselves, look at the likes of real madrid with a throbbing heart for football, They throwselves into 100s of millions pounds of debt for pure passion for football and having the best.

Arsenal do not deserve wenger and they deserve everything they get in the upcoming season because arsenal are in for a huge shock next season.

Hopefully wenger takes the international job for china soon and leaves cheapskate arsenal to wallow in midtable medicority with a new stadium only half full because the team is full of youngters who cant play without wengers coaching.

I am not in any way bothered about Hoyte leaving but I am worried on how the supposed new signing will cope since he will not be having preseason with the team which means he will not have the opportunity of playing for the team in a nor competitive competition which too me is very bad besides we need an experience but not expensive player, I guess it will be a player already in the premiership.

I think Arsenal need at least one more player! With their injury situation at the moment they may struggle in the early parts of the season! Hoyte was a player I never rated...made to many mistakes but he was better than Senderos!! ::):) I think he will be looking for a player to fil that hole in the midfield and fill the boots of Flamini and Gilberto! Nedd some steel in there!! ;)

Last night we could have done with a good midfielder. We were flattered by the result really. I would still like to see Barry , albeit his price tag is high. Justin is not a top 4 player and Chelski/ United showed that last season. ........A good central defender would also please me no end.

FQ : I don't have a lot to say on Justin's move to Newcastle, the guy always moaned when he was benched and was one of the reasons we were ripped apart from the wings by Nani in the FA cup game which we lost 4-0.

Arsenal new player - I posted a question about Amaury Bischoff, our new player about 1 and a half months ago, that article mentioned that this guy is close to signing with Arsenal. Then it happened. Ok, I hope Wenger is eyeing a Defensive Midfielder to replace Flamini/Gilberto. Yaya Toure was linked many a times with a move to the Emirates, I see why not ? Toure brothers at Arsenal just like the days of Gary & Phil at United. One more linked player is David Silva. He is little, short but very skillful. I watch these La Liga highlights every weekend and he is one player I've always kept an eye on.

Just hope he signs someone over 23 years old, remember him talking about buying "one more experienced player" after the signing of Nasri ? I think hes talking about someone like Yaya Toure, De Guzman, etc. An old head which our team needs.

Hoyte sucked... i am tired of Wenger saying we have a stong squad and blaming the lack of good play to the injured players! Yes half our team is injured but come on.... if he buys players that are injured like amaury how is that helping us? I think we need a CB but its too late now!
