LawnMower Question?

My lawn mower starts, it stays on for a couple seconds, and buds out, like you're lowering the volume on the TV... What's goin on? What do I have to do to fix the som'*****?

  1. Sounds like trash in the fuel system.When it is not running it settles.When it is cranked and the gas begins to flow it is picked up again stopping the flow at some point.Drain the gas tank by taking the line to the carb. off.Blow out your fuel lines, and change the fuel filter.You could also put carb. cleaner in your carberator while your doing this. Let it sit for awhile, and then remove the spark plug and pull your starter rope,or if electric start turn the key.This well blow the cleaner and any trash out of the sparkplug hole.


  2. sounds like it is starving for gas,change the air filter,get some new gas, and change the gas filter,hope one of these help.
