  1. http://wrightslaw.com/ is an excellent source.  They have hot links on their page to http://www.wrightslaw.com/law/caselaw/08... which is an Order handed down in a lawsuit concerning special education on March 31, 2008 - VERY current!

The beginnings of special education is found in Brown vs. The Board of Education.

  2. Try the movie or book called Annie's Coming Out (The book was known as Test of Love in the U.S). It's a bit old I think it was in the 80's. Also it's Australian, but it was the beginning of the courts (in Australia) accepting facilitated communication.

The top link is to Anne McDonald's webpage this has stuff on what her life was like prior to the court case, what happened in the court case and also some of her own thoughts on different things concerning disabled people.

The second site has some information on what facilitated communication is.

Look on the left, under Law Library, Caselaw
