Pros:

looks really nice when it's down

basically styles itself

Cons:

updos are hair to acheive without hairspray and clips

if you want longer hair later, you have to wait until the shortest layers grow out for it to look right

if you dont like it you have to wait for it all to grow back

it gives your hair volume

a style that looks great down.

a more edgy modern look, less boring than all on length

cons-

it can make putting your hair up a pain if theyre not long enough.

when you straighter then can sometimes stick out or slick out!

especially if its been raining:P

takes a while to grow back
