Learning how to Skateboard?

Hey, people. Listen, found my old skateboard in my garage, and I realized that I never actually learned how to ride it. Does anyone have any tips besides "practice" and "just get on the board and go." Or I could use some websites. The person that helps me improve the most gets 10 points. Good luck!

Find some other skaters around your skill level, find a local skatepark in your area...be prepared to fall, somedays more than others...i used to practice with my board in my room on the carpet, jumping off and on so that i could become familiar with setting up on it...practice pushing, running and hopping on the board, turning without getting off, leaning...as cliche as it sounds practice just being on your board...then check out some tirck tips beginner videos i.e Tony hawks trick tips, or put in a search online.

google it or look at some stuff on you tube. but make sure you learn right lol i taught myself wrong so i gotta learn again
