  2. It may beyond repair-leather is a natural product and it may be worn thin.

  3. Cover it with afghans and blankets and stuff,,,or buy a new one.

  4. ok, i had this problem, and i also tried everything.......

people make the mistake of taking a damp cloth, and giving the leather a wipe. this damages the leather as it draws out the salt, and it can tarnish it.....and make it look pale.....

you need to 'feed' the leather.....and even though, it took me a little while to find what i wanted, it was so well worth it, and saved me a load of cash...

if you have pet shop near by to you, idealy one that stocks different products of horses and people with horses, go in and ask for 'saddle cleaner'....its what jockeys use to clean the saddles, but it also feeds the leather,

use it sparingly, and with a nice soft cloth, you wont believe the instant difference, the leather will be cleaner, brighter, and will literally look like its brand new again. it worked for mine, when i though there was no point even trying.....

it will come in a round tin, and rub it in genty, in little circular motions, you will be so happy :)
