  1. a child aged 8 is definatly not legally aloud to drink alcohol in the UK!! ....18 is the legal age ...though there is talks of raising it due to excessive uderage binge drinking!

  2. Please refer to the following link:

  3. 18 (AND THATS IN MOST EUROPEAN COUNTRIES)

  4. 18 my friend the best age of your life lol

  5. when you parents hand you an alcoholic drink.  You can start drinking wine when you hit 12

  6. By law a 5+ year old can have an alcoholic drink within their own home if their parent allows them too or if it is given to them for a medical reason (would love to know which medical condition gets you prescribed beer?!).

At 16 you can have a drink with a meal in a licenced premises but someone over the age of 18 must be eating with you and must order it for you.

To buy alcohol yourself you must be 18+ regardless of where you buy it from pub/shop/restaurant and (of course) can be asked to provide ID to prove you are 18+ and refused service if you are unable to prove this.

  7. 18 at the moment but talks going on to make it 21 like the U.S.A.
