My friend bought a lego mars mission switch fighter. Its supposed to come with one green alien, but his came with 3 red aliens and 2 blue aliens. The aliens had the same shape as the normal green ones, but why where they diffrent colors than the original? And how much are they worth?

  1. Rana is correct. They included extra aliens to show "in good faith" that they tried to compensate the buyer with equal or greater value item or items. This alleviates any legal burden on the company since they gave you more than what they had advertised in the product, and legally a judge would rule in their favor, saying the color of the little guy is not material to the case.

  2. They're worth the same as the green ones.

They sent more because companies often do that when they run out of something and have to make a substitution.  They'll send more (or something worth more), so the consumer doesn't complain.

About 13 years ago, I made a complaint to Crayola about their pencil crayons, because the day I bought them I went to sharpen the green crayon and it kept breaking.  I was left with a little nub of a green pencil.  All I wanted was for them to send me another green pencil, that's what I was missing.  They sent me a whole pack of Crayola markers.  Have to keep the consumer happy...
