Leicester announce huge profit
The Leicester Tigers has announced that the club made a record £18.5 million profit in the last financial year.
Leicester have led the way both on and off of the field for the last few years and the huge financial success of the club is a reflection of how well the team has been playing in the Premiership.
It is very rare that professional sports clubs make a huge profit in the modern economic climate but Leicester has to be praised for keeping the figures in the black throughout.

The sustainability
The sustainability of Leicester's huge profits has been questioned by some because there are so many variable factors. With huge cuts made in the country's economy over the last month, it will be difficult for many fans to find the cash needed to go and watch a game.
Leicester do have a very good business model in place and they also have a talented team of people looking after the numbers. However, the club may find it very difficult to get another profit that is so impressive in terms of size and nature.
