Lennox Lewis vs Gene Tunney?

Lennox has the size and power advantage and Tunney has the speed and better boxing ability I believe. What does everyone elese think of this matchup? Thanks for answering my question.

well considering tunney was a light heavyweight and briefly a small heavyweight that beat an aging dempsey twice and beat a bum named tom heeney and lewis was a 6 ft 5 240 lbs i think lewis would probably win hmmm lets make these odds more fair how would lennox lewis do against a prime ali

Gene Tunney fought the much tougher opposition, having beaten Jack Dempsey twice. He has only 1 loss by a decision, which he fought well.

Lennox Lewis had a suspect chin, and had been knocked out twice. Even having gone back and defeated each of them, including Evander Holyfield, who he had drawn with, He had fought most of these good fighters past their prime.

To actually compare 2 fighters from completely different generations is hard to do, but If you would like my opinion, I would say Gene Tunney by KO in the 13th. (Or Unanimous decision if it's only a 12 round fight)

lewis has the size and power, like you said, but he was also kayoed bu mc call & rahman,

i don't think tunney ever met anyone as tall as lewis, but he did twice defeat the murderous punching dempsey.

i'd love to go with tunney, but i think lewis' reach would be the deciding factor.....lennox by decision.
