Liability insurance rates?

I am trying to figure out what it will cost me to have liability insurance on my company. I am the only employee. I only need it to setup a stand on occasion at different locations. I don't know what a general rate would be, so if anyone could give me an idea, that would be great.

Liability insurance is based on the risk involved.  It depends on what your business is and what you are doing.  The less risk of injury or a law suit the cheaper the insurance.

OK, rates are based on either gross sales, gross payroll, square footage occupied, or it can be something else, too.  It's ALSO subject to a minimum premium.  

There are two types of liability insurance - the slip and fall type, and the "your product gave me an infection" type.  

How much it costs is going to depend on which type you need, what your supplier gives you for vendor's coverage, and the rating factors in the first sentence.  I'd imagine if you go to a local agent, it will take him a week or so to get you a quote, IF You have all the info for him.  

I'd imagine this will cost you between $750 and $1500 a year.
