Lieing b******s?

i work in a photo center at sam's club and we get at least one person a week who comes in with a copyrighted image. when i ask them if it is their work they lie to me and tell me that it is their work just so they can get it copied! today and this a**hole came in and said that it was his work...but he was in the pictures!!! well, my team leader reconized the work as another photographers' who gets them done with us all the time. she mentioned this to the man and he confessed. but then caused a HUGE scene! what do we do to keep these people from copying professional work that is not theirs? they will lie and cheat and do anything! HELP! i cant work like this!

Report them to the Police what they are doing is illegal and can be charged with a Fine and go to Prison.

Chef Girl's answer is right on.  You are not a copyright cop!  Go about your own business and say nothing more to the offending customer.

Are you the copyright police?  Are you getting paid to develop pictures?  It's not really your problem. You work to live not live to work.
