Life in New zealand?

What's it like to live in New zealand? We'll be going there by the end of the month and I really don't know what to expect. I'm still a teenager (17 years old) and I'm from the Philippines... Can you describe the attitude of the people there, the life and the place? I'll also be studying there... They say that classes there start there on august... Your ideas would really be of great help...

  1. Lovely place, wonderful & friendly people.  The school year starts in late January/early February, and ends in December

  2. Lots of nationalities.  They speak English but not the one I knew. Slang is different.  People are very helpful. You will enjoy the schools. Weather will take some getting used to. You will be arriving in "Winter." The country is very beautiful.

Just take it as part of your life's learning experience and enjoy it.

  3. Maybe better post this question in the New Zealand section instead of Australia - different country! :)

  4. wonderful -(looking for signature to have it declared  one of the wonders of the world -(You know NZ was sold for one pound sterling  to the British by the chief tribe!-because of this it has to enter the records of UNESCO- to have an idea of what lies ahead when man ceases to think or continue to think.)

  5. just wanted to say New Zealand is a great place to live. the weather isn't usually that great but you will get used to it. wellington has the best social and arty culture. where are you going in new zealand? the people are very friendly and will always help you if your lost. new zealand is pretty relaxed (apart from in school lolz) with most people always finding time to have a cuppa. hope you luv it as much as i do.

    :D
