Like these names?

ok. so i'm only 15 and i am definitely not planning on having a child anytime... and i mean ANYTIME soon. but i'm just curious to see what people think of the names that i like.

i love audrey and karolyne... but do they sound good together as audrey karolyne?

my mother has already told me that atleast one of her grandchildren must be named karolyne... any middle names to go with that?

i also love audrina but i haven't really came up with a middle name for that.

i like cecily because its a mixture of two very important people in my family... cecil and lee. but is it a terrible name?

i like brianne... nickname bri. but no middle name.

do you like these names and do you have any suggestions?

cecily sounds old world/elegant

you might have fun looking back at victorian or renaissance names from england & italy. it sounds like you lean classic.

and it's only an opinion but you asked....Brianne just rubs me every which wrong way!!

Why would your mother want the peculiar spelling Karolyne? Don't let her choose the name of your baby. She's had her turn. When you get pregnant it will be your turn.

I love Audren too - I think it's so beautiful and timeless.  Very elegant and classy.  Doesn't hurt that I'm a huge Audrey Hepburn fan either.

I like Cecelia better - I like that the name has some emotional meaning to you, but I think Cecily just doesn't have the same ring to it.  Cecelia just sounds more complete.  Very lovely though.

I adooore Caroline and Carolina.  Not so keen on the spelllings, but I'm guessing it's a family thing - and I don't believe in messing with family spellings.

I met an Audrey born just this week!  It is a lovely name we haven't seen around here since those born in the 1930's.

Audrina is equally sweet, and Karolyne.

I love the name Audrey, and I think it sounds great with Karolyne.  Unless you are naming her after someone who spells the name as Karolyne, though, I would recommend using the standard spelling.  Audrey Caroline is classic and beautiful!  Audrina is pretty, too, but it sounds a little made-up and frilly.  I think Audrey would age better as your future daughter grows up.

I actually love Cecily as well...it's cute and spunky, but it has a bit of old-fashioned turn-of-the-century flair.  Though I'm not crazy about Brianne, Cecily Brianne does have a nice ring to it.  You might also consider:

Cecily Adele (means "noble")

Cecily Mireille (mee-RAY; means "to admire")

Cecily Kate (means "pure")

Cecily May (may mean "great" or "beloved")

As far as Karolyne/Caroline goes, it's a lovely name, but your mom doesn't get to tell you what to name your kids.  She got to name her kids; you get to name yours.  If you like it, then use it, but if you don't like it, then stick it in the middle slot or find something else.  Here are some middle name suggestions:

I've been thinking about what I've wanted to name my future kids since I was in middle school, so it's definitely not unusual to start planning now, as long as you aren't planning to HAVE them now.  :)

Audrey and Carloline [spelt that way] are sweet and classic.

Audrey Caroline sounds nice together as a combination.

Audriana Eloise sounds good.

Cecily is an ok name, it has a pretty sound to it.
