Limewire won't work?

Question

having downloaded limewire, i've tried getting music off it only for it to pop up telling me i need to install mp3Play. i followed the prompts yet the music would still not play, it just kept prompting me to download this "mp3Play" again and again, then saying all the programme was not correctly installed. any ideas as to what i could do to sort this out? thanks

yer if you mean once youve downloaded then you might be getting dogey files that your computer cant open,aslong has you have windows media player they should work,otherwise try downloading "divx converter" off google,hope this helps

go off line and use "add and remove programs" to delete limewire.

you can then go back on line and re-download it or try "piolet"a music only site.

Did you actually download it off the limewire official website. Cause it shouldn't ask that. You don't want to download any spyware/add-ons. =)

When your d/load of music track is complete....highlight it..then click on launch(near bottom of screen )...play track,see if its ok...if its not ,cancel d/load

mp3play could well be a rogue program im not familiar with it, best bet to get it working is the uninstall then reinstall trick.
