Linksys Router problems.?

I ordered the router from earthlink and i didn't get the disc that comes with it. I'm running on vista so i need it. Help.

  1. You don't ACTUALLY need it to set up the router...the router can be set up using your web browser. Your PC needs to be connected to the router via Ethernet Lan cable. The ethernet link will be automatically configured and you just need to open your browser and type the router's I.P address into the address bar.

  3. You never need a disc to install a router -- the router is a standalone device that does not require any drivers.  Networks all speak the same language (in terms of home user networks)

    Update:  I suppose you may have one of those USB (ick) routers in which case you may need a driver -- www.linksys.com you can download from.  I recommend using the CAT5e cable and connecting to your ethernet card if you have any choice.
