Linksys WRTP54G-VR Not working?

Question

Well I have had this G-Wireless Router for a while. All of a sudden (2 days ago to be exact) The router is now unstable to detect by my comp. When I have my cable modem plugged in straight, it works perfectly. With the Router the ONLY WIFI works and nothing else... Is my router shot?

I think you have that backwards for the router needs to be detected by the computer in wifi mode  if your comp can't check to see if you some how disabled the wifi

If WIFI works, but cables do not, then yes, it probably means the router is shot
