Linux or Windows? Tell me.?

That would depend on how much money you have and how what your computing needs are. Windows is definitely the best for just about anything but it will cost you. It can do everything that Linux can do and more. The only reason to consider getting Linux is if you don't have any money and you just want to do basic computing tasks such as typing documents and surfing the web. Windows is definitely better for gaming a media needs. Also some programs do not work with Linux. All in all I would say that I would prefer Windows over Linux.

If its Windows then it must be Windows Vista, it finally gives Windows enough features to call it a modern OS for example protective memory and buffer overflow protection. I could state a lot of features...lol.

In linux I like openSUSE and even Mandriva, they r the only ones in my opinion that come upto Windows and OS X standards in terms of polish.

Then I also love OS X, so seriously I like all of them.

Depends on your needs. These days pretty much you can do most of what used to be done only on Windows on Linux too. I personally like using Linux (or my Mac). But I use Windows at times.

So I guess you have to make the call based on what all you need. For example, if you need Microsoft Visio as a MUST, I would say try to Windows. I know there are cross-office and other products, but sometimes you should stick to the OS core strength.
