Linux ubuntu...?

i recently installed ubuntu along with vista on my sony vaio. it runs great except for one little thing...i have an atheros wireless card. i cant figure out how to get it to work. i know i need the driver which is madwifi. it recognizes the wireless card but as is its not compatible so my os is limited without the internet.

You should be able to connect to the internet via your Ethernet port, in order to install the needed drivers.
