Living in Canada or Europe?

Question

If i were to decide to live in Canada or Europe for about a year while being a U.S. citizen what do i have to do the get aproval? i dont think a dual citizenship would work considering none of my parents are canadian or european.

If you want to work then you need a visa that allows you do work.  This is not easy (like if someone from the UK wants to work in the states).

Decide which country you are interested in and then contact the local embassy of that country in the US for details
