Lizard or snake ? ?

Question

I got a new job in a pet shop and for the last few weeks I have been working with exotic pets, I love both lizards and now i have got over snakes and like them.

whats better to start with, snake or lizard

we have a lizard and i wasnt keen at first, but it had grown on me ... i cant stand snakes tho! x

i'd say its best to start with a snake as i think they are easier to handle.

What do you prefer having in your house - Mice/Rats or crickets? Snakes you don't have to feed as often though so they're a little less maintenance. Totally up to you though.

i have to leopard geckos, they are both females and so adorable and curious, they always look so cute, and never bite although some bite. mine like to crawl up to my shoulders and take a nap there

i would say snakes are better, they don't have claws and since you work in a pet store more than likely there not going to be poisonous.

I have a Royal Python called Monty, I don't know much about lizards but I know the snake is extremely easy to keep, as well as being more beautiful in my opinion.

I give my Monty a baby rat once a week, he poos about once a month, doesn't wet and is easily handled.

He's also very intelligent and reads the Times after breakfast:-
