  1. hit down on the ball and open the face up a little bit. practice by repetition

  2. With a wedge hit down and take some grass or a good sized divot which causes the backspin. The wedge itself will get the high loft. 56, 60 degree wedges are good

  3. just by putting a good swing on it with any wedge... a long thin divot will ensure your spin

move the ball to the back of your stance

  4. Opening your stance helps out a lot...just be sure to aim a little to the left/right depending on which direction you open up in. Also, hitting down on the ball helps out a lot.

  5. To get the ball up in the air, move it back in your stance a little, and hit down on it.  Extra spin is obtained with the hands at impact, and takes a lot of practice so as not to stub the shot altogether, or pull/push it off line.  Work on it at the range a lot before you try it on the course.

  6. you have been given several somewhat similar answers......However,  Clean sharp grooves and a correct swing are the only way to hit the shot you seek.  See a teaching pro and have him watch you ....he will be able to offer whatever corrections you need to accomplish your goal.
