Question:

London Chickens?

Can i keep them in my garden? or not? i wana get a hutch and 2 chickens from omlet...

  1. Check with your local council first.

    The Omlet eglu's look great, I don't have one but they are supposed to be good and the other thing is that they're fox proof. The only downside is the cost and apparently they're not that easy to access.

    Make sure your hens are protected from cats and foxes and it may be best if you build a run for them to roam around in when you're unable to supervise them free-ranging.

  2. check on the house contract if rented or on the house deeds if you own the house. i recommed ringing the council to ask them if it is allowed as some area do not allow the keeping of livestock/poultry.

  3. well London chickens i sopose they would be ok for staying in your garden but cats can be around so its best to keep your chicken in. :)

    but if you want it to stay in the garden there must be some sort of safety, i mean you can let it out some times but stay with it if you can
