i'm flying to london city airport? what the best way to get to victoria station and how far is it.

London City airport is on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR),

so your starting point is London City Airport station.

It's an easy enough journey: at most times of day you should do it in around 35 minutes.  

From London City Airport station, you need a DLR train travelling towards Bank.

You change at Canning Town station, to connect with the tube.

Take a Jubilee line train (any heading for Stanmore, or Willesden, or Wembley Park).

Change at Westminster station and connect with the District line: you need a westbound train heading for Richmond, or Ealing Broadway, or Wimbledon.  Or you can take a Circle line train towards Victoria.

Hop off at Victoria and there you are.
