Looking bad in front of parents?

Really desperate to avvoid that. And you know, some small things that arent really that bad (like getting a facebook) seem dissapointing to them. I want to ask for one, but I'm too afraid to look bad in front of them because I've always been someone they're proud of. Tips to ask for one without sounding "bad" to them??

If it is decent , I can't see why not, if you know its wrong do you really want to deal with that.

Well just ask them nicely and don't argue if they say no.
