and i felt so bad for piggy!

Simon's and Piggy's death made me angry and sad.

What made me happy was Ralph got away and they were saved at the end.

It was a interesting read. I think I was the only one in school that liked reading it.

Lord of the Flies is a classic in that it is assigned reading in many schools, both high schools and colleges.   As a result there are numerous free on line resources that can help you with your study of this novel, most of which analyze the story, discuss themes and symbolism and other literary devices, and give character sketches.  If you do a search you will find many helpful resources.  Additionally hundreds of questions have been asked here on Y!A about LOTF so do a search for it in the Yahoo Answers search window and you will find lots of Q’s and A’s that should help you.

Definitely! The way the boys treated Piggy was so unnecessarily mean!!! His poor glasses were being used all the time etc. I thought the end was the saddest part..how they ahem... wanted to kill Ralph =[. sooo sad. The pig's head on the stick with all the flies (hence the name of the book lol) was kinda creepy though...
