Lost Most Of My TV Channels!!!?

i was getting ready to whatch a tv show but the subtitels were on so i was looking for a way to turn them off but i accidentaly hit the channel scan button and i was so frustrated i just let it scan and used another tv but after a hour i can back and was going to whatch the SiFi but after i hit channel 25 moving up it showed AV then went to channel 2 i manually typed in 55 and nothing but fuzz and this happend to most of my channels including the ones between 2 and 25 like 16 of course i did the channel scan agian but no change i even unpluged it and disconected the cable and reconected and if i try any higher up channel 26-58 and above its only fuzz i have comcast but not a box on this telovison i think its a magabox smart series if i dont fix it i,ll end up whatching PBS :( any suggestions?

Hi,

Go back to your tv's menu and make sure that the signal type or source is set to cable tv not antena.

This is important! Have is set to cable and then redo the channel search. If this doesn't work reset your tv to factory settings. Your manual should show you how to do this. Remeber, one you get to factory settings you have to do everything from the begining like setting up colour, contrast,etc. And of course the chanel search after reset. Remeber reseting is you last option. Its like formating your computer and installing windows fresh.
