Lost port on a Panasonic?

I'm using a panasonic NV-GS180 and cannot for the life of me find the DC-in port. How do I use it while it's charging? I've got 7 hours of footage to get off this camera - I can't keep charging the battery every time it goes flat. Please help, I need this done really soon.

  1. Here is a link to your camcorder's manual:

    http://www.panasonic.co.uk:80/html/en_GB...

In the English version from 2007, please refer to page 10. There is an "AC Adapter" that connects to the battery charger. The AC adapter replaces the battery in the camcorder. Refer to page 5 - these are the acceories that came in the box with the camcorder. See item 1 - it includes the battery charger, the AC mains lead to connect to the battery charger and the DC input lead (this plugs into the battery charger and the other side replaces the battery in the camcorder).

So... your camcorder is not missing a DC port... but you seem to not have the DC piece that replaces the batter to work off mains power.
