We bought a new KitchenAid under the counter dishwasher and it is 3 years and 2 months old. It was quiet when new and it has been making whirring noises for about 2 months. It doesn't appear to be a chopper issue, because it makes the same noises each time we run it, about 5 times a week. We had an older "noisy" model for about 20 years, and the only thing to go bad on that one was the racks started to wear out and rust in the inside. That one always sounded like a jet airplane...this one is starting to sound that way and getting louder. We changed to different cycles and it makes no difference. What can I do, besides calling a service tech (like the manual says I should). I'm handy and I installed it. I just need some direction on what to do. Please help.
