Periodically, and for no apparent reason, my 37" Olevia HDTV will emit a LOUD buzz, or static blast (the only way I can describe it). If I am away from the room, I'll have to run back and turn the set off, then turn it back on to stop it. After that, it will usually perform well, however we can't leave the house with the TV on for fear that this frighteningly loud noise may result in an explosion or something worse. It can actually be quite unsettling
