Low Cost Eye Exam and Contacts?

Hi there. I don't have any eye insurance. I had an eye exam last year, and I have a prescription for contacts from then. Can I just use that prescription to get contacts cheap somehow? I know I need a new prescription but I was hoping maybe I could just get the contacts since I'm starting a new job in the fall, and I'll have eye insurance then. Until then, is there anywhere I could get an eye exam and contacts for really cheap?

I'm not sure if you've already checked or not, but you should probably check at the wal-mart vision center. They can help out with contacts and glasses.
