Lump growing above knee?

Question

Some 12 years ago, I scratched my kneee on bramble. Since then a small lump has grown just above my knee. It is now bigger than my kneecap. Any guesses what it is?

Pimples!!! :D lol go to the doctor asap and ask him about it he would probaly give you medicent that would make it go away good luck or pop it i think its fun XD!

looks like the area has been weakened since 12 years ago and has been weak since then. You have probably sparked off an infection or it could be a gathering a fluid. Go see a doctor he/she will either give you some anti-inflammatorys or if its fluid it could just be taken out with a syringe

If the original injury was a skin would it may be a keloid scar. This can occur in all races, but is more common the darker your skin. They can be excised or sometimes will shrink with steroid injections. See your GP.
