I have a MA W-2 that shows MA wages of 54. I live in NH and filed as NR and apportioned based on days worked in MA. Now the state is saying I can't apportion because the actual MA wages were reported on my W-2. Is this correct.??????

  1. If the state says you can't then you prob can't.

Only an employment attorney may be able to refute state law when the state won't budge.

  2. Did you sometime work in NH and sometimes in MA? Or did you work 100% of the time in MA?

Are the amounts for Federal wages the same as MA wages?

if so, you don't need to apportion wages.
