The QB argument is so tired and not factual.

Tarvaris Jackson was 7-2 last year!

He has no reason to not be a star this year in his first (hopefully) full season!

Berrian, AP, CT, Allen, Williams, so many great players that I also did not name.

Definite potential to be the "year" for us Vikings fans.

Not just a playoff contender, but an NFC North winner and possible bye in the playoffs.

No they got the weapons on offense and defense but NO quarterback. Look at every playoff team they had a over average quarterback. No they will not contend.

Yes they are! They added to a already good defense with Jared Allen, picked up another wide reciever, sidney rice is going to be a stud this year. 2 really good running backs also help take the pressure off of the quarterback which is really their only weak point. I f they can limit his mistakes they will win the division

not with tavaris jackson, and an improved bears, and the packers are still there man, i dont know. its a slight possibility...that is adria peterson does not get hurt.....

yes they will contend. they have a great defense, and a great running game. their only weak point is QB, which may improve next year, but their ground game can make up for it.

JARED ALLEN...   Are you kidding me.  The vikings will have the #1 deffense this year.  Followed by a great running game.  You guys are all missing the fact that they also added Bernard Berrian at WR.  This will open up the field even more for peterson.  Tavaris Jackson showed flickers of hope last year.  Lets not forget their is another ray of hope with John David Booty.    My opinion only means so much.  People from espn and cbs sports line are talking about possible super bowl season.
