  1. I personally wouldn't hop in a bathtub if my mucous plug was out.

  2. A bath is still fine. She does NOT have to go to the ER like someone said and it is NOT an immediate sign of labor.

  3. Yea, a bath is fine.  Just make sure the temp isn't hot.  (My Dr. advises body temp, you can easily check with a thermometer)  Just no oils, bubbles, etc.  Plain water is just fine though.

  4. I don't know for sure, but I would avoid something as relaxing as that. Might be worth a trip to the ER

  5. No more baths.

The mucus plug is there to help keep infection at bay, when it's gone, she can get an infection fairly easily.  Labor could be on its way anytime now, btw, so be prepared!!!

  6. Baths are fine! The fact that her mucous plug has discharged from her body only means that she has begun to dialate. It could be days or weeks before she actually goes into labor. She is only prone to infection if her water breaks and labor is taking longer than expected. Congrats to you both! I am 39 weeks pregnant and I haven't begun to dialate or anything!

  7. OMG wow congrats! That only means that your baby will be coming soon! maybe sooner than expected!

I would suggest her taking a shower, just incase. But i never lost my mucus plug so I could be wrong, lol i just wanted to say congrats :)

  8. yes she can take a bath she can do all normal activity its when her water breaks that she shouldn't do anything that could introduce bacteria into the v****a for instance s*x
