  1. Fleury by far.  He's one of the reasons the Pens are still in it.

  2. Zetterberg for Detroit and Crosby for Pittsburgh.

  3. fleury.  hes the only player on the penguins you consistently notice.

the redwings have a great team, but they play a team game and you notice all the players.  datsyuk and zetterberg have cooled off a bit for the finals, and neither is mvp worthy through the first 5 games.

  4. Zetterberg all the way!!!

  5. On the Penguins side it would go to Fluery, but if they lose he isn't getting it because the Red Wings have played too well for it to go to someone in a losing effort.

I'm too biased to say who should get it with the Red Wings, I have a lot of respect for them watching the series but don't know the players well enough to pick an MVP.

  6. def def def fluery.  How many saves did he have in the game on Monday night?  wooo...  He is amazing.  Detriot has a killer defense and offense, if it weren't for Fluery, we would have been cryin bout our loss on monday.

  7. Fleury

He's more valuable to his team than any of the Wings are to theirs.  That doesn't mean they're not good.  I just think that without Fleury, the Pens wouldn't be where they are.

  8. right now, mostly for detroit, it seems like anybody and everybody could be an MVP at any moment. and kudos to fleury in game five, he played really well. but thats the first time he has really played well all series! thats the only game that he has impressed me and, well, he got pretty darn lucky too. not fleury. hes not saving his team like he should be. one game doesn't cut it, unless its game seven of the stanley cup finals.

detroit... hm. zetterberg. made that amazing play in game four. but still, it could be anybody. i mean, look who scored the first goal in game six for us! Darren Helm! fourth line!

  9. The Red Wing fan who threw the Octopus in Pitt and was thrown out but bought another ticket in!

  10. Sykora! did u watch the game yesterday??? Or osgood... he has done really good

  11. Joey Mullen or Rick Tochett probably

  12. OMG---it would HAVE to be Fleury!!

Just in game five ALONE he blocked 55 out of 58!

Osgood (sorry, I know you're a Winger) only blocked, what?, 28??

Of course Talbot and Sykora are not to be overlooked!

(But that's just going off of game 5)

Malkin's been STRUGGLIN during this series!! He needs to get it together!! He's much better than what he's been puttin out there. And ya gotta have love for Crosby...but he's just got so much coverage, he really hasn't had many opps either...

  13. I would have to agree with Fleury in spite of the Pens being down by a game.  He has kept them in the series.  Tonight all that will change, though!

  14. Z.

  15. Marc-Andre Fleury. The kids a brick wall and an amazing acrobat. Have you seen some of those saves?? Wow!

  16. Fluery.. the only reason it goes to him is because he has been playing much higher than his expectations. He has also made some great saves that make you think he is getting lessons from roy or something ;)

  17. Id say Marc Andre Fleury

Whata beast he is, making those saves that keep the Penguins alive.

He is probably better than Osgood because of the way he can move on the ice.

  18. Zetterberg. He is playing great and he broke the single-season club playoff point record of 23 points shared by Sergei Fedorov (1995) and Steve Yzerman (1998) on Monday. He is a great leader and force on the Red Wings. He is also great in his own zone and his 5-on-3 penalty kill in Game 4 is a prime example of that.

If the Pens manage a comeback then Fluery will be it. He stole game 5 for the Pens and kept it from being 5-2 or even 6-2 going into the last minute of the 3rd then he made a lot of good saves in OT.

  19. Zetterberg
