Mac vs Windows ???????????????

Question

im thinking of getting myself a laptop,

and i cant decide what to get from a MAC or Windows?

i mean, i sorta wanna get a MAC so i can learn how to use it

(i repair computers and i want to know how to mess around with a MAC as i do with windowsm just for tha knowledge, you know?)

what do you think?

Just as a quick, hardware wise, macs and PCs are not the same.  Working on them is just about the same thing when it comes down to the screws and cables.  The big differences is just navigating around the OS's to get to where you want as a tech.  The difference in what you see in the actual OS's, is not big.  The MAC, if you choose to go that way, you will find quickly to me more PNP friendly with your devices.  WINDOWS always looking for some drivers or some new software than the one you have.  Other than that it is definitely preference.  I own both and I like Windows, just more stuff I like doing comes for Windows.  I have a MAC and my wife and the kid love it.  So easy...and when it comes to something not working, call me and I can fix it.

My First Laptop was Mac and it will be a Mac for my whole life!!!......We had a windows Computer (before my laptop)....and i hated it it always would freeze and got 2 or 3 viruses......and my mac is so fast and perfect!.....and really easy to learn how to use....

So i say get a mac...you wont be sorry!....Hope that helped

P.S. You Can always run Bootcamp Of your mac......it makes your mac into a windows computer.....so you can use all windows programs.....and that program comes with your mac

Dude, get Windows if you want to get serious work done.

Get a used Macbook with Mac OS to learn on it.

A simple as that.

Windows just because some people have gotten viruses maybe beacuse you didnt have anti virus protection that might be a problem...

Windows is soupported by more software things.

And the main problem with macs there designed for artists not normal people.

There designed for people who need to mix music paint pictures etc...

You dont need a mac its just a more expensive pc thats gives you less in the long run.!

go for MAC. but not the new mac book air lap top. it has no dvd drive and the battery is not replaceable. otherwise set yourself free and be a MAC.I 'M bug free for 8 months now.
