Macgyver? Does it work?

Question

All the things Macgyver does, like sticking glucose and surcose in acid makes a gummy buildup or using even the simplest things for a bomb, do those kinda things actualy work? I wondered if the things he does, on the Mac GYVER show realy worked.

Any sceintist out there???

on mythbuster....they tried all the things mcgyver does....it worked...some things they didnt kno tho...i didnt see the rest of the show sry ...

I'm not a scientist, but I am well versed in chemistry and physics and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that everything on Macgyver could be done in reality. The only thing unbelievable about the show I think was how Murdoc survived to haunt Mac.
