Madeleine or Victoria?

Question

My boyfriend and I already have the names picked for our twins (due in September) :

Oliver Lachlan and Madeleine Victoria. We originally planned to have Madeleine and Oliver as their usual names, but we're meeting lots of Madeleines/Madelyns/Madelines right now, so we're wondering if it wouldn't be better to call her Victoria instead. The last name will be Bell. So which one would you pick : Oliver and Victoria Bell or Madeleine and Oliver Bell?

Remember most names get cut down to nick names most Victoria's I know go by Tori and all Madeleine's I know go by Maddy/Maddi. I know more Victoria;s than I do Madeleine's.

I like Madeleine better.....Victoria's get shorten to Vicky and then Icky Vicky is always a possibility.

Both of the names are very pretty. But I prefer Madeleine. Either way the names are cute.

I would keep it as is, Madeleine Victoria and Oliver Lachlan. I have a daughter named Madeline Elise, who is turning 3. When I named her this, it wasn't so popular, she was born and it kinda took off. But honestly I DON"T CARE! Madeline is a beautiful name regardless of how you spell it. I love it. And regardless of how many have it. Plus I think it flows better as M.V.

Both names are beautiful. I wouldn't let someone else's choice dictate what you name your own child. Then again, I have only ever met one Madeleine/Madelyn/etc in my entire life. Go with your gut otherwise you'll regret it later.

Oliver and Victoria because the names sound good together.  Plus Madeleine just makes me think of Madeleine McCann now.

I would choose Victoria. Victoria and Oliver sound awesome together. There are way too many Madeleines out there for your daughter to stand out. You have chosen really great names!

Definitely Madeleine but I would spell it either Madalynn or Madeline.

i would say victoria madeleine bell.. it sounds really pretty and i have heard of sooo many ppl named madeleine lately especially babies!!

Love Oliver Lachlan and Madeleine Victoria..but my question is would you pronounce it Mad-duh-lynn or Mah-duh-leen? I favor the second pronounciation because its different and not so common.
