Whats the nearest beach from Madrid?

Valencia in an easterly direction is about 350km away and has long and vast beaches while Barcelona is over 600km away to the east and the north coast is nearer 400km away. I suggest you just find a local swimming baths. It'll be quicker.

Don't agree with the previous answer, would suggest, somewhere near Bilbao or San Sebastian is nearer, the latter being where a lot of Madrilenos go in the summer.Certainly, the latter is at least 70 miles nearer than Barcelona.
