Question

I post a letter before but forgot to say that no buttons work on the tv at all and when one is pressed a message in green writing comes up in what looks like another language that says serrure enfants. We have and old phillips remote that allows us to change channels by the up and down arrows and the same with the volume and we can turn it off and on but cannot enter the 0000 or 0711 code. We have tried turning it off for a few hours to no avail and have tried holding buttons for 10 seconds but know luck.Do you have any Ideas?
