Mags Gamble and All England Cup
The day of October 17 started with high ambitions, acute enthusiasm and plenty of speculations as the two big guns, Mags Gamble and Bubbly Phoenix, were going to collide in the high-profile contest of Williamhill.com All England Cup – Final.
It was just an accident that brought these two titans head-to-head in the mega challenge. After keen deliberations and evaluations, the bettors picked Bubbly Phoenix as the 6-5 hot favourite candidate for the £10000 race that was to be run over 480 metres.
The race began at 9:45 (GMT) with Mags Gamble breaking from Trap 4 and Bubbly Phoenix starting from Trap 6. A huge crowd of the sport lovers were present at Newcastle racecourse to enjoy the rip-roaring battle between the bigwigs.

Now, Mags Gamble and Tudor Prince were leading all. At one occasion, Tudor Prince tried to impede Mags Gamble but the latter beautifully and aggressively outplayed him to take lead.
Then till the finish line, H. Williams’ Mags Gamble kept running at the forefront and finally registered the biggest victory of his career by the big margin of 5¼.
It was the matter of great honour for Williams while Bubbly Phoenix’s trainer, P. Young, was badly disappointed and so the punters who had staked huge sums of money on the dog.
We cannot say it an upset as majority of the sport analysts and fans were favouring Mags Gamble for that awe-inspiring contest.
It was fifth straight success of the three-year-old veteran dog who won Winning Lines Standard Invitation in September before joining All England Cup tournament.
That classy triumph increased Mags Gamble’s market value to a great extent, making him a reliable commercial icon.
It is hoped that the son of Crash out of Movealong Rose will bring home some more glorious titles in the days to come. From now onwards, the bookmakers will not skip Mags Gamble before staking their money, and the dog’s fans can never be able to forget the
way he has performed in the grand event.
