Maintainence required light on ?

My honda accord Lx 4cyl, has 100,000 miles on it. about 2.5 months ago I changed the synthetic oil in it from walmart, and I had only drove about 1600 miles since from the oil change, and it is showing Mainteince required light ON.

what may be the problem, please suggest me..

  1. Yep as kelly_F_ said it could mean many things go to auto-zone and have them do a scan, it will give you a clue of what might be wrong, but just reading the codes may not tell you what is wrong. If you post the codes it shows on here with the make model and year of car you can get some help on what it may be. but not having the car in your hands makes it harder to troubleshoot.


  2. dont have to be just oil.. there is spark plugs air filter fuel filter plug wires and could be a few more things as a lot of meaning.. so if you have check all your fluids go to auto zone have it scan if your doing it yourself.. if not go to any shop and let them do service job and get it all right
