Major NFL Trades this year?

Jason Taylor to the Redskins from Miami.

Brett Favre to Jets from Packers.

Pacman Jones to Cowboys from Titans

Jeremy Shockey to Saints from Giants.

DeAngelo Hall to Raiders from Falcons.

I'm not convinced that Favre to the Jets is a major trade. I think it was a good trade for the Jets and their offense but not a trade I think that will get them to the playoffs.

I do think Jason Taylor to the Redskins was a good trade. I wouldn't go to the extent and say it's major but it's a trade that I thinks helps puts them in the running for the playoffs or at least wildcard. Plus, the Redskins were a pretty good team before the trade unlike the Jets. Adding Taylor makes that D a h**l of a lot better. Not extraordinary but better.

Well, I can give you three major trades.  The first was Jeremy Shockey to the Saints.  This was a major move on the Saints side, because they aquired a great offensive weapon.  Despite Shockey's lockeroom troubles, he has been known to be a go to guy and produce very much on the field.  I think that when the regular season starts you will see big numbers from him.  

The second major trade was that of Jason Taylor to the Redskins for a conditional draft pick.  This was a major trade because Jason adds more defensive talent to an already solid line backing core.  I think with Taylor in the line up the Redskins defense will be a top 5 defense along with the other great stars they have.  

Finally Brett Favre to the Jets was the most shocking trade of this season thus far.  Many did not believe he would leave to go to NY but he shocked many fans.  Favre I think will add leadership to a franchise that has not done well since Mangini came in the league. I think Favre made a decision that was best for his family and it had to be done.  The Packers ultimately lose because if Rodgers does poorly they don't have any other experience..

I use the NFL website pal to get transactions and everything. I use a mixture of historical players and current players in my franchise. Also set your Human AI to max it really helps on big plays.
